All staff are required to wear a face mask. There are extra masks on hand for employees when needed.

Staff is required to use provided gloves in the daily care of your child to include, but not limited to, food service, diaper changing, and wiping of any bodily fluids.

We follow all mandates from Virginia’s governor.

Social Distancing

As much as possible with young children, the 6 feet apart for social distancing is implemented in the classrooms and playgrounds.

Visual cues, signs, and announcements are posted throughout the center as a reminder to the proper social distancing.

Cleaning/Sanitation

Items and high touch areas, such as manipulatives, door handles, and light switches will be sanitized regularly throughout the day.

Air handlers have had Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization equipment installed. This reduces pathogens, mold spores, and viruses. Airborne mold spores are reduced by 90% with a kill rate of 99.6%. The human coronavirus kill rate is 90% in the chamber.

Entering & Leaving the Center

Staff and children must have a temperature check and health assessment completed before entering classrooms. No child or staff is permitted to stay in the building with a temperature of 100.4 or greater.

Parents drop off and pick up occurs in the lobby to limit possible classroom exposure of germs and illness.

Staff and children must immediately wash their hands upon entering the classroom.
