Staff is required to use provided gloves in the daily care of your child to include, but not limited to, food service, diaper changing, and wiping of any bodily fluids.
We follow all mandates from Virginia’s governor.
Social Distancing
As much as possible with young children, the 6 feet apart for social distancing is implemented in the classrooms and playgrounds.
Visual cues, signs, and announcements are posted throughout the center as a reminder to the proper social distancing.
Cleaning/Sanitation
Items and high touch areas, such as manipulatives, door handles, and light switches will be sanitized regularly throughout the day.
Air handlers have had Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization equipment installed. This reduces pathogens, mold spores, and viruses. Airborne mold spores are reduced by 90% with a kill rate of 99.6%. The human coronavirus kill rate is 90% in the chamber.
